The Warren offers guests a luxurious stay in the marvellous Powys countryside, with amazing views, stylish furnishings, and its own hot tub. The property blends nicely into its surroundings thanks to its earth roof, and the glass frontage allows you to enjoy your surroundings when you're outside or in! It also allows plenty of natural light to flood into the open plan living space, ensuring the room is bright and airy at all times.
The living area has a minimal design, and features wooden beams and a rustic dining table that ensure it maintains that all-important rural charm. However, nice touches of colour and modern sofas give it a contemporary feel. This space features two sofas and a swinging basket chair, ensuring you can socialise inside in comfort when the weather's not too great. However, when the sun is shining be sure to sit outside on the deck and enjoy the fresh country air. The outdoor space features a BBQ and a nice lawn, as well as the hot tub. Sit out in the sunshine enjoying the peace and tranquility of nature, before retiring back to your super-comfy bedroom for a great night's sleep.
Two of the three bedrooms also offer marvellous views, and all of them have luxurious beds. They're also wonderfully stylish thanks to bold colour choices and carefully hand-picked furnishings. There are three double bedrooms, and one of these features an additional single bed, allowing you to sleep seven in comfort. The master bedroom has doors out onto the deck, and giant windows that offer up a fantastic view in the morning. The second bedroom also has great views of the hills, whilst the third room sits at the rear of the property.
The kitchen has been well equipped with everything you'll need to cook some amazing meals. It features an oven, microwave, electric hob, and a fridge-freezer. And the window above the sink allows you to watch the curios sheep as you prepare dinner. The super-stylish bathroom has a huge, luxurious, spa-style bath tub and there is also a shower. You even have access to your own outdoor shower if needed.
The Warren sits on a 300 acre farm that's ready to be explored. Head to the stream for paddling and spot all the fascinating wildlife nearby, or venture onto one of the many trails that lead off for miles into the hills. The sister property The Burrow is also located on the farm, so you may bump into a few other guests as you wander the land, however, you're situated far from the other property and they share no facilities at all. Those of you who wish to head out on a bigger hike are spoiled for choice. Give the Offa’s Dyke path a go, as well as the dams of the Elan Valley and the mountainous Brecon Beacons. Come back muddy after a long hike, wash off in the outdoor shower and jump in the hot tub to relax and unwind in style!
Guests can visit nearby Knighton or Presteigne where there are lots of nice shops, and the area also has a number of fabulous pubs. The Harp is around 11 miles away in Old Radnor, and is a lovely old longhouse with a stunning hilltop setting. You may also wish to try out The Lion in Lentwardine that was named Best Pub in Shropshire in 2020. Both pubs are a drive away, however, so you may just wish to grab a bottle of something and hide away in The Warren with your loved ones.
