The Sandy Duck is a welcoming boutique bed and breakfast in the sunny seaside town of Falmouth. Having recently undergone a full renovation, the newly laid out B&B is spacious, modern and offers guests the highest levels of comfort in a relaxing, causal atmosphere. Located in a gorgeous setting, this splendid B&B is perfect for those of you looking to escape to the Cornish coast for a weekend of sun, sea and sand.
The seven bedrooms are thoughtfully laid out and individually designed to embrace elements of Danish style, whilst also containing features that would sit nicely in an elegant Edwardian townhouse. Some of the bedrooms have great sea views on offer, but all of them have comfortable super-king size beds complete with cashmere Hypnos mattresses and Egyptian cotton linen. The rooms are all impeccably presented and have en suit bathrooms complete with rainfall showers and luxury toiletries. Two of the en suite bathrooms also have free standing bath tubs.
The breakfast room on the ground floor is a pretty space, and is perfect for enjoying a nice leisurely start to your day. Guests can dine in plenty of natural light, enjoying fresh organic, locally sourced produce. And, after a busy day out and about, there’s also a nice peaceful drawing room where you can sit back with a book or play a board game with friends.
Guests at this charming B&B can explore Falmouth and the wider area, making the most of some wonderful beaches. The Sandy Duck is situated just a short walk from Gyllngvase and Swanpool beaches and is only a 10 minute walk from the main harbour, the busy town centre and the train station. With plenty of cracking restaurants and cafes, along with some lovely museums, galleries and shops, Falmouth is a lovely town and the perfect spot for a Great British summer holiday.
