Sleeping up to eight guests, this large Victorian terraced house offers 180 degree sea views over St Mawes harbour and the Carrick Headlands, St Anthony’s lighthouse and out to sea. Based on the South Cornish coast, St Mawes is the ideal place for those with a love of sailing, windsurfing, SUP, kayaking, boating and fishing and coastal walks. This is the perfect place for families and small groups to holiday in style and comfort while having some of the country's most beautiful coastline at their disposal.
The Moorings has four bedrooms over its three floors, the master bedroom and en second floor bedroom offer stunning views across the water to Carrick Headlands and St Anthony's lighthouse. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, while the other three rooms have twins which can be zipped together to form king-sized beds. There is a family bathroom and separate WC for guests to share, as well as two shower rooms and toilet downstairs too.
The open-plan kitchen and dining area is ideal for all guests to come together and cook, eat and socialise, with more than enough room for eight. As well as the large kitchen, guests can make use of the washing machine and dryer during their stay. The sitting room is home to a real fireplace, comfortable sofas and a bay window with glorious views over the water.
The house is set back from the road and has its own private terrace with outdoor furniture as well as a pretty garden and additional terrace with sea views, a gas barbecue and outdoor dining. The lower terrace is located directly above the water and comes complete with sun loungers, offering the ideal space for private sunbathing.
Just steps away from the terraced property, guests will find the picturesque Tavern Beach, while St Mawes Harbour and village are just a few minutes' walk away. The village offers a wide variety of well stocked shops including a butcher, baker, two delicatessens, freshly caught fish sold on the quay from the trailer, two art galleries, a chemist, a Post Office and a gift shop.
