Tilia Roundhouse is a delightful romantic bolthole for two. Surrounded by miles of gorgeous countryside and with huge rolling views, this peaceful rural hideaway is the perfect place to relax, unplug and unwind.
This wonderfully designed and meticulously constructed roundhouse is a circular, pre-fabricated timber framed building that offers you a lovely base from which to explore northern Wales. Constructed in 2019/20, this eco-friendly holiday dwelling offers a stylish interior, plenty of natural light, and luxury furnishings. It really is the ideal spot from which to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside with your loved one.
The Roundhouse has a big, comfy kingsize bed with a pocket sprung mattress for added luxury. You can awake in the morning, open the curtains and admire your beautiful natural surroundings through the large windows that let the outside in. After a great night's sleep you can make a coffee and prepare breakfast in your quaint kitchenette that comes complete with a fridge, toaster, and kettle. There is also a microwave and oven outside under the verandah, in true glamping tradition! Enjoy the morning sunshine out on your own private deck, where there's outdoor seating, and make use of the outdoor cooker and hob to indulge in some al fresco meal preparation. Make sure to light up the fire pit in the evenings so you can stay toasty long into the night.
Heading back inside, The Roundhouse also has free WiFI, USB charge points, and a large Sony LED TV, so you've got plenty of ways to keep yourself entertained on those days when you just don't fancy venturing out. There is also a stylish bathroom with a spacious shower, heated towel rail, and fluffy white towels and bathrobes, offering you a lot more luxury than your average glamping spot. Guests also get to make use of a range of locally sourced, complimentary toiletries.
The Roundhouse sits in the grounds of the marvellous B&B - The Laundry. The Laundry has pretty gardens that you're welcome to enjoy during your stay. However, those of you who wish to venture out will be pleased to know that there's plenty to do in the surrounding area. North Wales is a hot spot for tourism, with a wide range of fantastic walking routes, idyllic market towns, and lovely beaches. The Roundhouse is only an hour's drive from the stunning peaks of the Snowdonia National Park and from Zip World with its super fun outdoor adventures.
Avid walkers will want to explore the surrounding area that is made up of lush green hills interspersed with historical sites that are well worth a visit. Guests can walk to popular places such as Denbigh Castle, St Dyfnog's Church, and more. The owners are more than happy to suggest walking routes to guests, so don't hesitate to ask! Foodies are also in luck, with there being a range of brilliant eateries in the area including The White Horse in Hendrerwydd, The Dinorben Arms in Bodfari, Nant y Felin in Pentre Llanrhaeadr, and On the Hill - a cracking bistro in Ruthin.

Leave a reviewHusband booked this as a surprise major birthday treat and it didn't disappoint! Every detail is perfect from the fresh bread when we arrived to the locay eco-soap. Location was great, view was spectacular from the lovely big windows and we were cosy and warm listening to the hail on the quirky circular skylight in the evening. Just lovely!
