The Hut at Bride Farm is ideal for couples, families or small groups of friends who are looking for a relaxing retreat in a beautiful location. The hut is set in over three acres of pasture and woodland, in a pretty field that is entirely yours during your stay. Spread out and play games on the grass or sit and enjoy a drink whilst taking in the amazing views. There’s also a wood-fired hot tub for you to make use of, so you can indulge in a relaxing soak after a day wandering the twisting walking routes in the area.
From the outside the hut has a beautiful design that makes it look like it’s from a fairytale. And as you step inside the magic continues. The hut itself is one large open-plan space and all of the furniture is arranged around a central indoor firepit. Throw some logs on the fire and relax on the comfy sofas or sit in one of the chairs by the window and settle in with a good book and a mug of coffee. The hut’s quaint kitchenette features a mini-fridge, a microwave, a toaster and a cafetiere.
When the weather’s warm you can step outside onto your private deck, which offers a great spot to take in your gorgeous surroundings. Hop into the hot tub with a glass of bubbles as the sun begins to set before getting toasty in front of the firepit inside. The deck also features a nice alfresco seating area and a modern gas BBQ, so you can whip up some delicious grilled goodies during your stay.
As night draws in and bedtime rolls around, you’ll want to head back inside, where the hut features a large super-comfy, double bed tucked away in its own little nook. There is then space for more guests on the two sofa beds, which means the hut can sleep up to six adults. There’s also a fully equipped modern bathroom sitting just next door, accessed by a short walk across the private deck.
If you wish to venture out and explore the local area you’ve got miles of picturesque Kent countryside on your doorstep. You’re also just 10 minutes from the mediaeval town of Sandwich and Royal St Georges and 25 minutes from all the sites of historic Canterbury. There are many lovely walking routes in the area, so be sure to head out in your hiking boots stopping off for a well-earned lunch at one of the charming local pubs.
