The New Forest is a short drive away, an area of natural beauty where you can explore the many trails around the ancient heaths and woodland by bicycle or on foot.
The hut has been beautifully decorated and fitted with everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay. The charming interior features a kitchen with a cooker, microwave, fridge, toaster and all the essentials needed to cook up a meal that you can enjoy in the cosy dining area. There is an outside space with a table and chairs if you prefer some al fresco dining, as well as two lounge chairs to relax in and soak up the afternoon sun. When it’s time to unwind, retreat to the king size double bed with a thick mattress and soft bedding for a great night’s sleep. There are some wonderful walks right from your doorstep, especially around the idyllic Pleasure Grounds and Keyhaven Marshes Nature Reserve. The picturesque seaside village of Milford is a ten-minute walk from the hut; as well as having lots of places to eat and drink, it also boasts a castle, a harbour and a golf club to visit. The beautiful beachfront is sandy at low tide, with several walkways to stroll down and see the sites. If you fancy visiting the nearby market town of Lymington, why not walk there via the picturesque coastal path? The New Forest is roughly a 30-minute car journey and is a great day out, full of different walking routes and cycle paths through the woods, heathland and river valleys, with excellent views and a wide array of local wildlife.
