The Bolt has been impeccably renovated - what was once a simple barn now boasts magazine-worthy interiors. Situated in stunning countryside with its own wood-fired hot tub, and within easy striking distance of the city of Wells, The Bolt makes one irresistibly romantic retreat.
Split-level concrete flooring, statement steel-framed beams and a gloriously moody colour palette really gives The Bolt an urban edge. And industrial styling, opulent fabrics and a modern wood burning stove all add to the understated luxury. The open-plan living/dining/kitchen all benefit from the large bi-fold doors that dramatically frame the stunning view from wherever you are in the property.
Step down into the lounge where the large velvet sofa, flat screen television and wood burning stove all make for the cosiest of backdrops. The television can also be turned round so you can even view it from the comfort of the wood-fired hot tub. A further seating area offers up designer chairs, a footstool and table - positioned to take in the very best of the view, it’s the perfect spot for your late morning cup of tea.
The dazzling kitchen is well-equipped with modern gloss units, built-in single electric oven and microwave, gas hob, full size fridge-freezer, dishwasher, wine cooler, kettle, toaster and Nespresso coffee machine. And open shelving and a large breakfast bar both hit a perfectly stylish note.
Situated on the higher section of the split-level floor, the modern dining area is elegantly put together - ideal for a romantic dinner for two.
The bedroom has a bespoke super-king bed that has been expertly made from reclaimed wood. And crisp white linen, luxurious textiles and a cowry shell chandelier all make a rather elegant statement. Relax at home, enjoy walks from the door or head out to explore England’s smallest city. Located just a four minute drive away, you can explore Wells’ pretty cobbled streets and impressive medieval cathedral. This vibrant market town also has plenty of independent shops and excellent eateries to indulge in. And, If you’re lucky enough to visit on a Wednesday or Saturday, you’ll get to see its historic marketplace in full swing.
