You'll find Hidden House nestled amongst the trees on the fringe of some pretty woodland in the beautiful Somerset countryside. Set within 260 acres of organic farmland, this unique treehouse offers a tranquil and peaceful escape for those looking to slow down the pace and reconnect with nature. Relax out on the deck, napping in the hammock or enjoying a soak in the copper bath while taking in the view. After a long walk in the countryside or a day down at the beach, recover with a session in your private wood-fired hot tub and sauna. Round the day off with a delicious meal prepared in the outdoor kitchen and watching the sunset by the fire.
Hidden House has been made using local cedar and is perched on timber legs amongst ferns and the trunks of the surrounding trees. Inside, you'll find stylish and spacious open-plan living areas, filled with light and furnished using natural materials, helping you feel closer to your surroundings. Wake up to the sounds of the birds in the luxurious king size bed, complete with Egyptian cotton bed linen. Rustle up some breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen and tuck in at the kitchen table or out on the deck overlooking the countryside.
The deck is the perfect spot to while away a sunny morning, sipping a cup of coffee as you enjoy the view, or perhaps planning your next walk through the surrounding fields and rolling hills. As well as some outdoor furniture, you'll also find a beautiful copper bath out on the deck and a hammock. Head down to the lower level and you'll find the spa area with its wood-fired hot tub and infrared sauna. After a pampering session, light the BBQ or get the pizza oven going in the outdoor kitchen and enjoy a delicious meal out on the deck. In the evenings, there's a fire bowl to keep you cosy and warm as you watch the sunset and even do a bit of stargazing.
If you can tear yourselves away from your cosy hideaway, there's plenty of exploring to do in the area. The farm is located close to the Devon and Dorset borders, meaning you have many miles of spectacular countryside on the doorstep and easy access to the coast. For a bit of culture, visit the spectacular Mantacute House nearby, a fantastic example of Elizabethan architecture, or head down to Forde Abbey, a former Cistercian monastery. For a taste of the local cider, Perry's Cider Mills is just a short drive away, offering tours and tastings. Venture a little further south and you'll hit the spectacular Jurassic Coast where you can sample fresh seafood at Lyme Regis' restaurants or go fossil hunting along the famous beaches.
