With an interior to envy, the owners’ passion for creating beautiful spaces is evident in the home’s unique styling, furnishings and colour palette which strike just the right balance between elegance and practicality. The cottage with its whitewashed walls and muted naturals has an ethereal charm about it and is laid out over three floors. French-inspired furniture, reclaimed weathered planks and stripped floorboards sit alongside original period features like sash windows, fireplace lintels and chunky reveals. There are cosy spaces to retreat to and welcoming spaces to come together in, including a gorgeous, fully equipped first floor kitchen, and the living area with its log-burner and views of both the sea and St Michaels Mount.
Three bedrooms including a master king, twin room and single as well as a large family bathroom with decadent roll top bath mean there’s plenty of space for a party of five guests. Outside, a tiled Mediterranean-esque courtyard garden with pots, planting, table and seating is where you’ll be able to soak up the Cornish sunshine, and the outdoor shower with hot water is perfect for washing away the Marazion Beach sand after a day spent building sandcastles, sunbathing or paddle boarding.
Ideally placed within the village and on the coast, there are a selection of wonderful beaches to explore both on the doorstep and further afield including Perranunthnoe, Sennen and Prussia coves, Carbis Bay and Porthcurno. A wealth of coastal paths and walks in the area offer plenty of opportunity to relish some of the most spectacular sea and landscape views including those of St Michaels Mount, while within the village are an abundance of independent shops, art galleries and restaurants.
