Sunnybank is a dream holiday home for golf lovers and is within easy walking distance of Luffness, Gullane and Muirfield golf courses. Sleeping up to four guests in four bedrooms it would be perfect for families or friends looking for a weekend of their favourite sport with an option for days relaxing on the golden sands of Gullane beach.
The apartment is on the first floor of a house in the heart of Gullane village and you'll arrive to find a welcome hamper in the fully equipped modern kitchen where you can enjoy a post journey refreshment and decide which of the four stunning bedrooms you'll be claiming as your own.
The whole apartment has been decorated with style and elegance and the bedrooms are all fabulous with a golf theme running throughout. Choose between 'Birdie' with its king size sleigh bed, 'On the Green' which has a king size rattan bed, 'Out of Bounds' boasting a cosy double sleigh bed and 'All Square' with its double-sized four poster bed. All of the rooms are unique and characterful with thoughtful touches (sunscreen, golf pencils, mint anyone?) and come with premium mattresses for extra comfort, duck down toppers and crisp White Company bed linens. You'll also find plenty of storage room, USB chargers and blackout lined curtains to ensure a deep sleep before you head out to the course.
In the morning you'll have two bathrooms to choose from, one with a rain shower for a gentle start and the other with a power shower to blast you awake. Best of all of course, there'll be minimal queuing and hanging around! Help yourself to White Company fluffy towels and keep them warm on the heated rails.
Gather together for a spot of breakfast at the large dining table and make use of the Krups Coffee machine as you plan your day. Obviously, there is a heavy emphasis on golf surrounding the property and its location, and if that's what has brought you to East Lothian then you'll have a heavenly day ahead of you. But this home is also a wonderful base from which to explore all that East Lothian has to offer.
Gullane village has plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants to keep you occupied, and a walk along the lovely Gullane beach will clear the head and stimulate the appetite. For a day of pampering the host recommends Archerfield House and Spa which is a swift 10-minute drive away. And Drem railway station has a direct line to Edinburgh for days out.
At the end of your adventures you can settle in the lush living room, make yourself cosy on the two big soft sofas, turn on the electric fire and relax with a movie on the Smart TV or a tuck into a good book. And if the weather is pleasant you'll also have exclusive use of a sizeable back garden where you can relax with a final dram before bed.
