Tucked away at the foot of the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds, on the edge of the small village of Bishop Wilton lies the Springdale and Cowdale Snug Huts. Named after the dales of the local area, these award-winning luxury dwellings offer a unique taste of quaint Yorkshire village life. Beautifully designed, tastefully finished and carefully considered for your relaxation and comfort, these mini havens are a glamping experience that are second to none. Sleeping up to three people, the Snug Huts are the ideal retreat for couples and small families.
Part of a larger lodge property, Wolds Edge Holiday Lodges, both huts are nestled in their own little private section of countryside, so you can enjoy the local wildlife in peace. Here, you can take in the singing of the birds while you enjoy some al-fresco dining on the mini picnic bench situated out the front.
Springdale and Cowdale have both been lovingly decorated to give off a quaint and relaxing air, so you'll feel right at home from the off. Inside, there is a comfy double bed, and a single bed nestled above (perfect for kids). You'll also have your own little dining table, along with kitchen essentials such as a kettle, toaster, microwave, and mini fridge. A tea tray stocked with tea, coffee, milk, sugar, and local baked treats is also provided. For those colder winter nights, each lodge comes with a charming little wood burner, perfect for snuggling up with your loved one.
The huts are ideally located near the Yorkshire Wolds, perfect for getting out and about and exploring the breath-taking scenery of the countryside. The local area has an abundance of popular walking and cycling routes (such as Chalkland and Minter Way) and is a short drive from both the East Yorkshire coast and the Howardian Hills, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. Just 12 miles away lies York, a city steeped in tradition and history. With an abundance of pubs, restaurants, shops, historic buildings and various other local attractions, you won't want for things to do in this ancient city. If you're still stuck, then your hosts will be more than happy to suggest activities to keep you entertained.
