Surrounded by dense forest and rolling green dales, these cute huts are the perfect place to unwind and relax, leaving the stresses of life behind for a chilled holiday in the hills. These luxurious shepherds huts are the ideal destination for those yearning to immerse themselves in the fresh country air without having to endure the discomforts of traditional camping holidays, and in these snug waterproof huts guests can get away whatever the unpredictable British weather brings.
Built from timber with corrugated tin roofs, with brightly painted windows and doors, small iron wheels and an old-style outdoor lamp, guests will feel instantly at home before they even step foot over the threshold. Visitors enter directly into the kitchen area of the hut where they will find everything they could possible need to whip up romantic suppers, picnic lunches or lazy brunches. Colourful cupboards perfectly compliment the decor throughout the huts and an above-the-sink window allows guests to make the most of the lovely location even when there is washing up to be done. And when supper is ready, light some candles, set them on the wooden dining table and enjoy reconnecting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
A woodburner sits in the corner of the kitchen area for cosy evenings warming toes and sipping cocoa, but when the weather is fine, head outside to the picnic tables and take in the clear night skies. When bedtime beckons, snuggle amongst the crispest linens and cosiest duvets on the built-in bed. Pretty curtains keep night chills at bay and in the morning, pull them wide and enjoy the stunning views with a cup of tea from the comfort of the bed. The bathrooms are fab with tongue and groove panelling covering the walls, large walk-in showers with bundles of hot water and luxurious fluffy towels.
The location is perfect, meaning guests can use the huts as a base from which to explore the area. For lovers of nature and the great outdoors, there are plenty of mountain biking and hiking opportunities. Guests can also while away hours foraging in the forests or simply settling on the river bank and enjoy a perfectly lazy day with a picnic and bottle of wine. This is an area that foodies will love too, with lots of traditional pubs and restaurants to discover including the Golden Lion, Sydneys, and Falcon Manor. The beautiful market towns of Settle and Skipton are also both nearby and well worth a visit if you fancy a taste of charming Yorkshire towns.
