Pond Barn, sitting in the rolling West Suffolk countryside, is a charming and spacious holiday home for for 10 that sits perched on the edge of a tranquil pond. Ideal for your next family getaway, this gorgeous barn offers some lovely socialising spots from the open plan living area to the amazing wrap-around deck.

Arrive and instantly begin to unwind in peace, as you leave the trappings of daily life behind. The barn is a haven, offering country views aplenty and lots of lovely walks right from your door. Add to this the wood-fired hot tub and you’ve got the perfect rural getaway.

Inside, the barn has a bright and airy, open plan living space. The kitchen is nicely equipped with all the mod cons you’ll need to whip up delicious feasts, and there’s also a stunning bar area where you can perch with a drink whilst the designated chef works away. Dinners can be enjoyed on the spacious dining table, which is ideal for lively dinner parties, seating 10 in comfort.

The lounge space is cosy and comfy, and is a great place to unwind with a morning coffee or after dinner drink. You can also take your drinks to the alfresco entertainment area, which features festoon lights, fire pits and the hot tub. This is a great place to hang out with loved ones, stargazing as the flames crackle.

If you want to venture out and explore the grounds, the Pond Barn sits in 1,500 acres of Capability Brown-designed parklands. So go for a wander and see perfect ponds, stunning lakes and some ancient oak woodlands. Then, return back to the barn and hop into the hot tub for an indulgent soak before bed.

When bedtime does beckon, the barn has five lovely bedrooms spread across the ground and first floors. All of the rooms offer super-comfy king size beds and ensuite bathrooms for added privacy.

If you wish to venture out further afield and explore all that Suffolk has to offer, you’re nicely placed to visit some wonderful locations. From the spectacular countryside to the delightful towns and villages that offer great local pubs, restaurants and shopping opportunities, there’s plenty to see and do. The historic market towns of Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket are both a short drive away and are well worth a visit, whilst slightly further afield sits the incredible city of Cambridge with all of its historic allure.
