Get together with family and friends in this historic Georgian townhouse in pretty Suffolk. High ceilings, magnificent curved-bay windows and an abundance of original features, including coving and fireplaces, plus stylish and modern conveniences, ensure guests enjoy a relaxing get-away in historic splendour. Kick off shoes in the spacious, and very handy boot room, which has lots of hanging room for coats, brollies and hats, before heading to the welcoming kitchen to unpack goodies and make a drink.
This well-equipped room is light and spacious with a large island in the centre offering plenty of counter space for the kitchen helpers, or just somewhere to lean with a glass of wine and keep cook company. On sunny days, throw open the doors which lead out to the lovely garden. Grill lunch on the barbecue, relax in the outdoor living area and watch youngsters playing on the lawn. Mealtimes is an event in itself at Cornwallis. The grand dining room houses a magnificent wooden dining table with velvet upholstered chairs. This fabulous teal-room has a beautiful polished-parquet floor and provides a glamorous backdrop for memorable meals.
