No detail has been overlooked in kitting out this magnificent house, which boasts a widescreen TV for movie nights, speedy WiFi throughout, and a stately hot tub to unwind in after a long day of hiking. Curl up in the lounge or the drawing room, each with their own open fires, or strike out into the surrounding region and take in the stunning vistas of the River Stour.
While the property feels tranquil and private, convivial guests will be delighted by the nearby amenities. As well as breathtaking footpaths snaking around the property, you can be at one of several pubs in less than 15 minutes on foot. From casual dining spots for families to high-end restaurants for special meals, there is a wide selection of cafes, pubs and bars nearby, and of course a wider selection once you get into Ipswich proper, just over five miles away.
Head to Harkstead Beach on foot, or make the slightly longer journey to Felixstowe South Beach. In the summer, spend all day out in the sea and on the sand, enjoying crab sandwiches and ice creams, and in the winter wrap up warm and head out along the Shotley peninsula, treating yourselves to cosy pub lunches, roaring fires, and wine in the hot tub.
