Enjoy a stunning seafront location from the comfort of this exquisite property situated directly on the North Devon coast.
At the far end of the promenade, directly facing a three mile stretch of golden sand, this magical period property will sweep guests away with its luxury and romance. Many of Memory House's original features have been maintained, including wood panels and coving, fireplaces and flooring. High ceilings and luxurious furnishings, many of them vintage, also enhance the grand atmosphere of the house.
From the marvellous entrance hall, with its marble fireplace and impressive staircase, to the incredible views from almost every window, guests will be wowed in every room they step in. The kitchen is bang up to date, with a bespoke Stephen Graver design, and has a glamorous breakfast bar to enjoy coffee and pastries. A dining table is also nicely positioned in the bay window, so guests can enjoy those wonderful views while tucking into divine dinners. A living area, featuring a huge corner sofa, can be found to the far end of the kitchen. Visitors can sink in amongst the many scatter cushions and curl up with a good book, watch a movie on the flat screen television or simply gaze out to sea.
There is a door leading directly onto the terrace from the living area where guests will find patio furniture, a gas barbecue and a private hot tub. This is a perfect spot for relaxing lunches and afternoons spent sun bathing in luxury on the cushioned loungers before taking an evening dip in the hot tub.
When it's time to wash off the sea and sand from the beach, there are four very glamorous bathrooms to chose from. With marble tiles and wooden floorboards, walk-in showers cascading hot water, heated towel rails, large fluffy bath towels and bath robes, this is the ideal place in which to reset after a day tumbling amongst the waves.
The bedrooms are no less romantic. Beds are dressed with Egyptian cotton linens, with a 250 thread count, furnishings are vintage and there are wonderful bay windows which reach from ceiling to floor and let in pools of natural light. Thick, heavy curtains and period radiators ensure the rooms are dark and cosy, so a good night's sleep is ensured whatever the time of year.
Memory House is perfectly located to never have to use the car. All of Woolacombe's bars, cafes, shops and restaurants are a short stroll away and the beach is right on the doorstep.
Please note: minimum stay for this property is: 3 nights low season & 7 nights high season
