Longlands Farm Retreats is a collection of exceptional glamping pods and a stunning 17th century cottage that sit within a spectacular landscape in Cartmel.

These four gorgeous glamping pods all sleep two guests, offering couples a romantic break in the Lake District. Each pod has its own luxurious hot tub where you and your loved one can relax in the warm water whilst gazing out at the beautiful surrounding scenery. The deck is also home to a cute outdoor dining set for two, meaning you have the perfect spot to enjoy an alfresco meal or a morning coffee in style.

The pods themselves make use of modern bi-folding doors to let in plenty of natural light whilst making the most of the incredible vistas. These huge glass windows perfectly frame the hills outside, meaning you can rest on your sofa in front of the wood-burning fireplace and enjoy the uninterrupted view. And, in summer, slide them open and let the outside in.

Whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner, the modern kitchens in each pod are nicely equipped and make meal prep a joy. Sip a glass of wine as the logs crackle on the fire whilst you prepare delicious feasts for you and your loved one.

After dinner relax in the hot tub or go for a stroll around the beautiful grounds. Then, when bedtime beckons, wash off the day in the chic shower room before hopping into your luxurious king size bed for a peaceful night’s sleep.

Each pod sleeps two guests, however, you can book multiple units if there are more than two of you. The site is also home to a beautiful cottage that dates back to the 17th century. The cottage can also be booked and sleeps up to six guests in pure comfort with its own private hot tub.

Those of you who wish to venture out will be delighted with all there is to see and do in the local area. Be sure to visit the world famous Cartmel, which is home to the magnificent 800-year-old priory, a renowned three-star Michelin restaurant and arguably the country’s loveliest racecourse.

Cartmel, and the wider area, is full of cracking pubs, delightful restaurants and some incredible scenery. Walk the marvellous Lake District’s many hiking and biking trails, and wander the shores of some of the UK’s most beautiful bodies of water. The Lake District is full of the most amazing attractions and these romantic glamping pods offer you and your loved one the perfect base from which to explore it all.
