Helvellyn Hut is a delightful cabin tucked away on a working farm surrounded by nature. Made of locally sourced Larch and Douglas Fir it blends beautifully into its surroundings and would be a wonderful treat for couples seeking respite and a touch of luxury in the Lake District.

The interior is bijou and cleverly designed to feel cosy, not cramped, and luxurious without losing any of its rustic charm.

The kitchen is fully fitted and has everything you could need to prepare a meal for two which you can enjoy together at the breakfast bar facing a glorious view. The hut has character with exposed copper, lots of wood features and even a butler's sink making it feel unique and stylish as well as warm and welcoming.

A comfy L-shaped sofa provides an excellent spot to sit and take in the views with bi-folding doors that open right up and let the outside flow into the space. If it's chilly you can close the doors and curtains, light up the toasty wood burner and play some board games or read a book.

When you're ready for bed you can tuck yourself up in the spacious double bed decked out in high quality linens and fall to sleep with the sound of the owls and nature to lull you away.

In the morning slide open the reclaimed door and enjoy your fully functioning ensuite! Once you're up and invigorated head through and grab a coffee, which you can enjoy outside on the decking. Make yourself comfy and soak in the morning sun in utter tranquility with the entire Helvellyn mountain range as your backdrop.

The hut curves around an old oak tree with one area covered with bamboo where you can dine alfresco at the reclaimed bistro set no matter the weather. It's actually particularly lovely when there's some rain! After you eat, why not recline in the swing chair and watch the sun set as the solar lights come up? On hot evenings you can cook outside on the open fire, toast some marshmallows and snuggle up with a mug of hot chocolate as the stars show off above. And for the piece de la resistance this fabulous hut comes with an alfresco Japanese soaking tub! Extra wide and deep, it's a perfect place to soak away your cares with a glass of champagne.

If you want to keep things simple just take a stroll around the wildflower meadow and relax outside the hut. But the Lake District has lots to offer and explore so you might like to take a gentle walk from the cabin to High Rigg and Walla Crag, or go for a more adrenaline inducing exercise via Ferretra Climbing!

Head into nearby Keswick and explore the markets on Thursday and Saturday. And for a memorable experience enjoy a stroll with an alpaca. For a proper pub meal try Swinside Inn at the heart of the Lake District. And if you want a gourmet experience book a table at The Cottage In The Woods, a fabulous Michelin Star restaurant only 15-minute drive or taxi from the hut.
