Set in the vibrant market town of Cirencester, at a quick glance this Grade II listed building might look like a traditional Cotswold country hotel. However, step inside and you’ll find an interior with a bold and adventurous personality, perfect for those looking for a bit of theatre and entertainment. You’ll be greeted by luxurious and vibrant colour palettes, patterns and fabrics that are more than a little reminiscent of the Gatsby era. Choose from 11 individually designed rooms, each packed with character, and eat in the award-winning on-site restaurant.
There are four types of rooms to choose from, each with its own personality and all equipped with luxurious linen and at least a king size bed. The Carling Suite has an apartment-style layout and provides a real home away from home. Relax in front of the fireplace in a comfy armchair or lounge on the beautiful four-poster super-king size bed. There’s also a sofa bed to accommodate a few extra guests.
The Deluxe Super King rooms feature beautiful free-standing baths with Molten Brown bath salts ready to help you indulge. The Super King Rooms have all been beautifully designed with statement headboards and bold colour schemes. You’ll find gorgeous woven throws, Nespresso machines and stylish en suites to match. The smallest rooms on offer are still described as ‘Extravagant’. These King Rooms are cleverly designed to make the most of the space, providing cosy sanctuaries for couples exploring the Cotswolds. You’ll find gold-framed mirrors, velvet headboards and walk-in showers in the ensuites.
The award-winning restaurant is located in the cellar. Téatro offers breakfast every day, dinner Monday to Saturday and bottomless brunch on Sundays. Expect cuisine from all corners of the globe, complemented by delicious cocktails. In the summer months, head outside to The Firepit and tuck into delicious meals with locally sourced ingredients.
Ingleside House is perfectly located for exploring the Cotswolds. With pretty towns and villages like Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold to the north and Westonbirt Arboretum to the south, there’s no end to the day trips you could plan. There’s plenty to explore in Cirencester itself, with the beautifully preserved Roman mosaics in the Corinium Museum and the acres of expertly maintained parkland at Cirencester Park which also has an open-air pool.
