Settled in amongst Scottish pines and birch on the southwest bank of Loch Rusky are the artisinally designed Here and Now Pods. These two charming cabins have been expertly constructed using only the finest Scottish timber, and with respect for the surrounding landscape firmly in mind. Although small, each of the two pods comes well equipped with mod cons to make your stay relaxing and cosy, while the outdoor decking area has a BBQ and firepit. With their enviable location just a stone's throw from Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, you couldn't find a better base from which to explore one of the UK's most unspoiled regions. For singles or couples wanting to totally immerse themselves into the serenity of nature, Here and Now is for you.
The inside of the pods is cosy and warm. They boast a king size bed with Egyptian cotton sheets, a kitchenette area with a toaster, kettle, and tea making facilities, a bar table and stools, and a small fridge/freezer. Crockery, cutlery, and glassware is also provided. The ensuite bathroom has a WC, basin, and walk-in shower. There are also a few books and board games for guests to enjoy. If you want to enjoy your marvellous surroundings then all you have to do is step outside the pods and onto the large, private decking area. Here, you can sit at the table and chairs as you take in the wild Scottish countryside, get cooking at the gas barbeque, or just relax around the firepit after a long day's hiking.
Here and Now is wonderfully positioned on the fringes of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. One of the UK's most spectacular National Parks, the area is popular for its lake and mountain scenery, wildlife, hiking, climbing, water sports, and the various other outdoor activities on offer. There are numerous mountains within easy reach of the pods, as well as plenty of great lochs for fishing. If pony trekking is more your thing, then Castle Rednock is just a mile and a half away. For those of a more urban inclination, you will be less than a 30-minute drive from the historic city of Stirling. It takes approximately 50-minutes by car to reach Glasgow, Scotland's largest city and a hub for culture, shopping, entertainment, and nightlife.

Leave a reviewWe had a wonderful weekend getaway in ‘Here’ glamping pod. The location is so lovely and peaceful, the pod has been kitted out and finished to a very high standard, and Natalie was a wonderful host. There’s lots to explore locally and also back on site; the highlights for us were paddle boarding on the Loch and barbecuing with the fire pit! Highly recommended - we’re looking forward to our next visit!
