Nestled away in the countryside, this lovely little hideaway is ideal for small groups who want to leave the hustle and bustle behind and relax in total privacy. The unique property is warm and homely, beautifully designed to blend laid-back luxury with rustic charm. A wood-fired hot tub in the garden makes the stay even more special. On entering the cottage, you’ll find the interior has been tastefully decorated to reflect the surroundings, with traditional oak rafters, Malvern stone walls and splashes of forest green and heather pink.

The self-catering home has a kitchen equipped with modern appliances, and the pretty dining area is a lovely spot for a romantic, candlelit dinner. The kitchen is also fitted with underfloor heating to keep your feet warm If you fancy a late-night snack.

When not out exploring the idyllic surroundings, guests can relax and recharge in the lounge. The room has two comfy sofas and can be warmed by a wood burner, which is set in an inglenook fireplace. There’s also a selection of books and board games, and a smart TV to keep you occupied.

Choose between an upstairs cosy bedroom, with wooden beams and comfy king bed with views over the valley, or the garden bedroom with doors to the terrace which offers a king or twin beds depending on your party. The spacious cottage bathroom, lined in copper panels, has an elegant roll top bath and rainfall shower. You also have underfloor heating, fluffy towels and robes and organic toiletries which add a touch of spa luxury.

Outside the property is surrounded by the wonderful garden and terrace. With lovely views across the valley and an abundance of trees and wildflowers, it’s a truly magical spot. In the milder months, you can light up the barbecue and pizza oven and dine alfresco. On chilly days why not warm up by the fire pit and gaze up at the starry sky? Set in the garden is the wood fired hot tub, sheltered and surrounded by trees for privacy.

The Malvern Hills straddle Worcestershire and Herefordshire. Renowned for its picturesque landscapes and breathtaking views, it is a popular destination for avid walkers, and there is an array of fantastic footpaths right on your doorstep. If you fancy something more high-octane, the steep climbs, wooded slopes and open commons make it an exciting place to cycle, on and off road.

There are several charming pubs a short drive from the cottage, including the Farmers Arms Birtsmorton, The Swann Inn and The Inn at Wellend, all serving up local ales and great food. You can also make the short journey to one of the area’s thriving towns or villages, such as Ledbury, which has plenty of shops and eateries. Other recommended activities include visiting the Georgian castle at Eastnor and kayaking down the River Wye.

We loved this cottage, and so did our dog. Its nestled in woodland full on bluebells with walks on the doorstep. Its so peaceful and comfortable; beautifully designed. We slept deeply and woke up to birdsong.
