Enjoy a romantic retreat in the Kent countryside at this cosy barn for two with a hot tub and scenic views.
With breathtaking, uninterrupted views across rolling countryside, sits the beautiful Dairy Barn. An idyllic retreat for couples or friends wanting to fully unwind in the most tranquil of settings, yet close enough to the historic city of Tunbridge Wells; should a day of wandering the cobbled streets and a spot of lunch sound appealing.
With high, wooden beam ceilings, step inside the airy, open plan living area, with a beautifully finished and fully equipped kitchen, ideal for preparing a gourmet picnic for two, looking out over the sitting area with cosy wood burner for Winters evenings in, and through french doors out to the views beyond. When the sun goes down, retreat to the comfort of the King size bedroom for a restful night sleep, with modern en-suite shower room.
Outside, you will be spoilt for choice as to where to sit to take in the glorious backdrop. French doors lead from the living area onto a raised terrace, with dining table for meals al fresco, with steps leading down to a lawn garden; a perfect spot for a relaxing picnic together before exploring the surrounding countryside on foot. Whilst the pièce de résistance has undoubtedly got to be the hot tub terrace, designed to allow a completely unobstructed view of the rolling fields and hills from the luxurious hot tub, with rattan corner sofa to cosy up on with a glass of locally produced wine after a long soak. This truly is a special setting for a romantic break in the countryside.
Blackham is a small village sitting on the Kent/East Sussex Border, approximately five miles from Tunbridge Wells. Tunbridge Wells lies in the heart of the beautiful High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The High Weald has many picturesque towns and villages amid the rolling hills, ancient woods and open heaths. The area boasts many wonderful rural villages and traditional country pubs, along with walks galore and sights to see. Visit the historic spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells where you can browse amongst the independent shops in The Pantiles and High Street, enjoy the many local eateries and places to grab a coffee or a glass of wine, as well as being able to enjoy live music.
There is plenty to do in the beautiful countryside of the Weald including walking, cycling and horse-riding. Take a trip to Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest and explore one of the world’s best collection of conifers, head out for a walk or a mountain bike ride or fly through the tree-tops on the Go-Ape high ropes adventure trail.
