With its rustic and homely interior and its fantastic location in the Mendip Hills close to Bristol, Coombe Barn is a fab spot for a group getaway. This charming barn sleeps up to eight guests and offers plenty of space for you and your loved ones to spread out and unwind in style.
The cosy living room is a lovely spot to gather together as a group and offers some classic touches of rustic charm, including the exposed beams in the ceiling and the grand statement fireplace made from striking stone. Light the fire, grab a bottle of wine and put your feet up for an evening catching up with friends and family. And, if you fancy a movie night, head to the snug which has authentic cinema chairs, beanbags and a giant TV where you can stream your favourite films. Another lovely spot to relax, away from the group is the conservatory, where you can settle in with a good book whilst looking out at the garden.
When the weather’s warm, spend your afternoons in the pretty garden, with its spacious lawn and outdoor seating. Light the BBQ and grill up some local produce whilst the rest of your group socialise in the sunshine. And if the weather’s not so great, whip up a feast in the beautiful farmhouse kitchen, with its modern appliances, or sit at the kitchen island and keep your loved one company as they work away at dinner.
