This quintessential country cottage is sitting in a truly idyllic spot in the Nidderdale Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Located on the eastern edge of the Yorkshire Dales, Buryemwick is a sleek and stylish escape that offers families and friends a comfortable stay in the country.
With plenty of space for socialising, you and your loved ones can spread out and relax in style. Gather together in the comfy living room, with its inglenook log burner, which is the ideal space for a movie night on the smart TV. Guests will also love the games room where you can relax around yet another wood burner and enjoy a game at the billiards table or on the dart board.
When it comes to preparing meals, the supremely stylish kitchen is a haven for budding cooks. Beautifully styled with deep green units and sleek white marble worktops, the kitchen has everything you need to whip up a delicious feast. As well as a range of modern amenities, the kitchen also has a spacious island where you can sit with a drink keeping the designated chef company whilst they work away.
The kitchen space also features a rustic dining table sitting next to a window that offers lovely views of the surrounding hillsides. This is a fabulous place to enjoy meals with your loved ones that stretch long into the night. The room also features French doors that let the sunshine in and can be opened to allow you to step out into the garden.
The outside space here is a real gem. Not only can you enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding scenery, but you can also hop into your own private hot tub for a luxurious soak. There is also some nice seating here, meaning you can rest up with a tasty drink and watch as the sun sets over the hills.
When night falls, enjoy a peaceful sleep in one of the four sumptuous bedrooms. Lindley is a special bedroom with a brass bedstead and a super-comfy mattress. This room also offers amazing views out across open fields and an ensuite slipper bathtub for added luxury.
Fewston offers yet more amazing views and features a king size bed and an ensuite with a walk-in shower, whilst the third bedroom, Thurcross has a calming colour palette and a luxurious super-king size bed that can be set up as twins if needed. The room also offers yet more lovely views and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower.
And last but not least is Swinsty. This double bedroom sits on the ground floor and has a fresh colour palette and an ensuite bathroom. The bed is nicely oriented to make the most of the expansive views towards Swinsty Reservoir and the rolling countryside all around.
If you wish to head out, you’re nicely placed to visit the remarkable scenery of the Yorkshire Dales National Park as well as the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. These two marvellous locations offer an array of fabulous walking routes and spectacular countryside to explore. You’re also just a short drive from the fantastic city of Leeds, which has lots of great shopping, eating and drinking opportunities. Other great places to visit include Brimham Rocks, Bolton Abbey, Pateley Bridge and Swinsty Reservoir.
