This grand holiday home has a sprawling garden and spacious social areas that make relaxing and unwinding with your loved ones a breeze. Add to this the wonderful walking routes nearby and the amazing views of the surrounding countryside and you’ve got a perfect destination for your next staycation.
The home offers abundant living space and the decor is effortlessly chic and the atmosphere cosy. The open-plan living area is ideal for socialising and is bright and airy thanks to the large windows that flood the space with natural light. Get comfy on the sofas with your loved ones for a movie night in front of the fire, or step out into the fab orangery and enjoy sun-kissed meals with your loved ones. The modern kitchen has all you need to prepare meals during your stay and you can also dine alfresco in the peaceful garden. And if you need a moment of peace, the tranquil snug is the ideal spot for downtime.
Stepping outside, the stunning garden has a sprawling lawn that takes you right up to the lapping edges of the Meare. Enjoy a drink out on the wrap-around patio or take your book down to the pontoon and listen to the water lapping against the shore as you read. There’s also a BBQ here for some alfresco grilling, so be sure to get your hands on some local produce and get to work.
When night falls, the home’s four uniquely decorated bedrooms all offer stunning views over Thorpeness Meare. Three of the bedrooms feature super-king size beds and one has a king size, whilst all guarantee a wonderful night’s sleep.
This marvellous lakeside home offers you the chance to head out and wander the water’s edge on foot. However, you’re also just a short stroll from Thorpeness Beach and the outstanding Suffolk coast. Stride out further and explore many charming seaside villages, with lovely pubs and delightful spots to eat. Or head inland and visit the delightful town of Ipswich, where there’s lots to see and do.
