Expect a gourmet, foodie break in the lush, English countryside at this exclusive hotel on the beautiful River Avon. Settled on the border of the Cotswolds in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Eckington Manor is a special place that oozes with peace and tranquillity. Relax amongst the stunning farmland or join the professional cookery school, before indulging in the evening with delicious, home-cooked food. With their farm-to-fork philosophy and Masterchef winning chef, food served here is something you’ll never forget.

Eckington Manor is set on a 260 acre working farm and has a collection of boutique hotel rooms set in five restored farmhouse buildings. With the earliest dating back as far as the 12th century, the buildings each have their own quirky, original features and historic, farming character. There’s the classic timber frame farmhouse and ancient cider mill, along with an iconic Dutch barn and quaint milking parlour. Each has been stylishly updated with a casual, country glamour and boasts a handful of rooms with views across the farmland.

The 17 hotel rooms each have their own unique design and include classic doubles and luxury rooms, along with deluxe bedrooms and Junior Suites. Each has been furnished with an impeccable and refined, country style, blending exposed timbers and flagstone flooring with sink-in beds and plush fabrics. Choose from roaring log burners or hand-painted wallpaper, or in-room baths and Fired Earth shower rooms. Their warm, natural colours are a nod to the stunning rural setting and are joined by fresh flowers, designer prints and handpicked antiques.

Discover the esteemed beauty of the Cotswolds stopping off in pretty Broadway village with its gorgeous, stone buildings. The captivating Malvern Hills can also be found close-by, along with the famous Shakespearean town of Stratford-upon-Avon.

If you want to relax and stay closer to home, the on-site cookery school is a must for food-lovers. With an array of professional classes ranging from beginners to advanced, it is a rare opportunity to learn from the experts. As the day comes to a close, you can indulge in a sumptuous three course dinner before retreating to the cosy lounge with its honesty bar and log burner.
