Embrace a slower pace of life at this handcrafted cabin tucked away in unspoilt Cotswolds woodland. Although the home is off-grid, it has all the amenities of a luxury stay – from a sumptuous king size bed overlooking unspoilt farmland to a wood-fired hot tub for soothing aching muscles after long countryside rambles. Firepit meal hampers can be provided as an additional extra should you fancy cooking your meals in the open air.
Natural textures and deep blue accents create a soothing and sophisticated atmosphere inside the abode. The living area features two comfortable armchairs strategically positioned in front of the large window, allowing you to soak up the serene views as you sip your morning cup of coffee or evening tipple. There is a log-burning stove to keep you warm when the temperature drops - two crates of wood are provided - and a woodshed with an honesty box is also available should you need to restock. The room is completed by a kitchenette with a gas hob, a small fridge and prep space for rustling up quick lunches and hearty dinners.
Make a beeline for the sleeping nook at nightfall and fall back into the comfortable king size bed, dressed in quality linen. Head into the ensuite bathroom to find a shower, fluffy towels and complimentary shampoo and body wash.
When the weather is on your side, head onto the decking and cook something tasty over the firepit or let your cares melt away with a soak in the wood-fired hot tub. If you’d prefer to expend some energy, take a walk through the grounds or drive for 15 minutes to Cirencester Park. Post stroll, wet your whistle in one of Cirencester’s charming pubs or cafes, followed by a tasty dinner in an independent restaurant. History buffs should visit the Corinium Museum and pore over the collection of objects found in and around the market town.
