This gorgeous, sprawling house with an additional guest annex sleeping up to 11 in total, is a wonderful luxury escape, perfect for a multi generational family holiday or a large group of friends seeking a stylish getaway by the sea.
The main living room, dining area and kitchen are situated on the first floor to make the most of the stunning views across the Menai Straight and Eryri (Snowdonia). Once you've dispensed with your luggage you can gather in the charming living area for a welcome drink and admire the bespoke artwork, antiques and beautiful mid-century furnishings that give this room its unique style and very welcoming a warm atmosphere. Throw open the large sliding doors and head out on to the full-length balcony where you can enjoy the stunning views as you unwind and get into holiday mode.
The kitchen is large, modern and sleek with stylish marble tops and a curved breakfast bar ideal for a morning coffee. This is also a great place to prepare delicious feasts which you can enjoy at the large antique dining table surrounded by those glorious views.
After supper, relax on the large corner sofa by the electric fire and enjoy a movie on the wall-mounted flat screen TV. If there are kids or teenagers with you, this might be a good time to introduce them to the snug! This cosy room with its own TV is the perfect chill out area for them and also serves as a great spot to sneak away to with a good book, or choose a board game if you want some quiet time.
When it's time to sleep you have a wide selection of rooms to choose from on the ground floor, second floor and one lovely, private separate annexe just next to the house in the garden.
The ground floor has two spacious super-king rooms, one pink and one green. One has its own ensuite with a shower and the other has a shower room just down the corridor and can be made into a twin room, ideal for siblings sharing. Both rooms are decked out with beautiful antique furniture, comfortable Burgess beds and Tiele linens. Both rooms also boast magnificent views. Up on the second floor are two more bedrooms, these would be ideal for parents with children, offering one super-king with its own luxurious ensuite with a bath and a separate shower. And there's an excellent second bedroom with bunk beds where the kids can tuck in for the night.
The outside annex is like a charming, high-end beach hut with a large bed for two and an ensuite shower room. A popular choice for couples or teenagers wanting their own private space.
After a good night's sleep and a refreshing shower you can all gather back in the open plan living area for that all important first coffee, and if the weather permits you might like to take this opportunity to explore the fantastic garden. This space is very large and has more of those gorgeous views and offers plenty of seating, loungers and a dining area should you fancy a BBQ later in the day.
There is so much to see and do in Beaumaris you'll struggle to fit everything in. If you enjoy a good hike you'll want to spend a day in the nearby Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, or explore the surrounding area via the many coastal paths. There are seven beaches in and around Beaumaris, with the nearest pebble beach just a few minutes away.
The town centre is within walking distance and has a host of independent shops, bars, restaurants and pubs for you to try. The Bull's Head Inn dates back to the 15th century and is a great place for a spot of lunch and a pint after a walk around the UN World Heritage Beaumaris Castle.
Pop into the Central Bakery in the morning and stock up on fresh artisanal bread and pastries. Stroll along to the Pier House Bistro and enjoy a coffee on the seafront. Take the kids crabbing and reward yourselves with an ice cream afterwards. To top it all off you might like to take a boat cruise to Puffin Island. At the end of the day you can head back to Ty Stabl, light up the BBQ and settle in for dinner and drinks beneath the stars.
