Luxuriously renovated apartment in Beaumaris with a lovely, dog-friendly interior, stunning views and a pebble beach less than a minute away.
Low Tide is one of four apartments in The Tides House and is located on the ground floor of a large bright pink house by the beach. It would be great for a small family of up to four, a group of friends and is particularly good for those who would prefer no staircase.
This cheerful and welcoming apartment is accessed through a communal entrance and opens into a hallway that leads directly to a light and elegant open plan living, dining and kitchen area. There is a very large picture window that provides wonderful views of the Menai Straight and Eryri (Snowdonia), whilst flooding the room with sunshine.
The kitchen area runs along one side of the room and has everything you could need to whip up breakfasts, picnics and cosy suppers which you can share at the intimate booth seating in the far corner of the room.
The living area has a big soft sofa, two comfortable armchairs and an electric fire tucked into the original fireplace, where you can unwind with a glass of wine and watch a movie on the wall-mounted TV. The furnishings are a mix of antique and modern with pale blue walls and a nod to the seaside setting in the picture art and pretty antique ornaments.
There are two bedrooms, one with a super-king and one with full size twins. Both rooms are beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches to ensure a good night's rest, including Burgess mattresses and luxurious Tiele bed linens.
Each room has its own ensuite so no queuing in the morning! Both are modern and tiled, the twin has a bathtub with a shower overhead so you can enjoy a long bubble bath at the end of the day. And the super-king has a large powerful shower to blast away the sleep.
After breakfast you can head out to explore the beautiful seaside town of Beaumaris. Stroll along the pebble beach, which is just outside the property, or take a five-minute stroll into the town centre where you'll find plenty of independent shops, bars and restaurants. Visit the World Heritage site of Beaumaris Castle, and head to The Bull's Head Inn afterwards for a pint and some good food. The pub dates back to the 15th century and sits on the doorstep of the Eryri (Snowdonia) mountain ranges.
And if you fancy a lazy night in, why not treat yourself to fish and chips from Neptune's, curl up by the fire and watch a movie? After a day at the beach have a BBQ on your private terrace to the rear of the apartment where you can relax and watch the sun set, of if you prefer, there's a large communal garden with seating at the front of the building.
Please note: minimum stay for this property is: 2 nights low season & 7 nights high season
