Situated on a private road near a picturesque lake, Alynfa Barn House is a unique and modern home offering groups of up to 14 a relaxing stay on Anglesey. From the outside this is a striking, beautiful home that sits in spacious grounds, with lots of outdoor areas where you can unwind in the sunshine. Get comfy on the private patio where you’ll find outdoor seating and a luxurious hot tub for indulgent soaks under the stars. Or head to the garden, where there’s a firepit and some seating offering you the chance to warm your toes in front of the fire as the sun begins to set.

Stepping inside, you’ve got a grand open-plan living space with minimalist design and high ceilings. There’s a cosy lounge area here, tucked away from the rest of the space, with a comfy L-shaped sofa and the wood-burning fireplace keeps you warm all year round. The open-plan space also has a fab dining area, with a big table that comfortably seats your entire group, and the modern kitchen is nicely equipped with everything you need to prepare hearty feasts during your stay.

The crown jewel of the interior is the first floor lake-view lounge, which is a stunning room with a huge glass-panelled balcony offering you amazing views of the lake. Sit out here and watch the sun set behind the water as you enjoy an evening tipple. This first floor lounge can also be reworked to host yoga and workshop events.

When night falls, the home’s six bedrooms all feature their own signature decor and are flooded with natural light. There are three super-king bedrooms that can all be split into twin singles if needed. Then there’s one double room, one king size room and one bedroom with a double bed on the bottom and a double bunk above. You also have four ensuite bathrooms, two of which have bathtubs for indulgent soaks away from the rest of your group.

This wonderful home sits off a private road and is located near the beautiful Maelog Lake. You’re also just a 10-minute walk from Rhosneigr, which is home to one of the best beaches in Europe. As well as offering an amazing day on the beach, you can also spend your days exploring the stunning sand dunes and picturesque coastline that stretches out in both directions.

You can also visit the Oyster Catcher, which is right on the sand dunes and offers up the restaurant, Will’s Bar, Dune Bar and Pat’s Shack. This is one of the best places to eat and drink in all of Wales.
