The Tiny Boat is securely moored in a private spot on a seven-acre lake set amongst 170 acres of beautiful Somerset farmland and countryside.
This beautiful wooden barge has been lovingly restored and guests will find it the ideal place to switch off from the world, witness wonderful wildlife at play and enjoy a unique experience, creating memories for a lifetime.
Step down into the hull and the galley kitchen is modern and well-equipped for simple meals cooked on the induction hob. Porthole windows bring in light and add to the quintessential character of the boat. A wooden table is tucked beyond the kitchen and is a cosy area to enjoy simple suppers or basic breakfasts when the weather outside may turn cool.
Beyond the galley is the spectacular bedroom which features a high quality double bed which fits flush with the sides of the boat. Large roof-height windows offer a panoramic view of the lake and spectacular sights both day and night. Sit in bed with morning tea, watch the birds dip over the water and perhaps even spot beavers and otters as they start their day.
Head outside to the wooden deck which encompasses the boat and enjoy coffee and croissants at the outdoor table, sharing pastry crumbs with the array of wonderful birdlife which also lives nearby.
Roll out a towel on the deck and take in some rays, or book yourself a session in the woodland sauna for some steamy bliss, before taking a plunge in the refreshing waters of the lake. For those who prefer to stay above the waterline, rowing boats and paddle boards are also welcome on the water.
Finish the evening with a simple supper on the deck, take in the sunset with an obligatory sundowner before enjoying the spectacular display of the sky at night, either outdoor on the deck or from the cosy comfort of your bed.
