The Retreats at Sauchope allow those staying to escape from the hustle and bustle and relax overlooking the Firth of the Forth. With the beautiful estuary in Fife as the backdrop these lodges are perfect for getting away from it all.
Accommodating up to three people, these properties are ideal for a romantic break for couples, or for a small family. Each lodge has a generous living area, complete with a comfy sofa and armchair sitting in front of the wood burning stove and television for cosy nights in. The sofa also converts into a bed. There is a fully equipped and modern kitchen with a gas oven and hob, microwave, and coffee maker, as well as a dining table and chairs for up to four people.
The double bedroom has a stylish decor and an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, basin, and WC. Everything is available to make the stay as comfortable as possible, from toiletries to tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, so guests can simply unpack and start relaxing.
Glass doors lead out onto the spacious decked veranda and its views across this spectacular stretch of water that links several Scottish rivers with the North Sea. Also outside is the private hot tub, where you can sit and unwind whatever the weather.
There is plenty to go and explore in Fife with its rustic villages and charming towns. Head out onto the coastal pathway and discover them all by foot while taking in the amazing surroundings. From the cosmopolitan St Andrews to the quaint charm of fishing villages such as Crail, Anstruther, Pittenweem, St Monans, and Elie, those staying will never get bored.
There is also plenty on offer for food and drink lovers, with harbour cafes, cosy pubs, and award winning restaurants serving up an array of delights, while craft beers, gins, and whiskies can be enjoyed directly at source. It is also brimming with history with the abbey in Dunfermline a real highlight, while golfers are catered for with the historic St Andrews and 49 other courses in the area.
