Sitting in a tranquil corner of a beautiful North Yorkshire farm, The Nestbox is a cosy, idyllic retreat for two. Ideal for a romantic getaway, this quaint cabin is full of rustic charm offering warm interiors, delightful country views and a wonderful outdoor area where you can sit in the warmth of the sun and unwind in style.
Inside, the cabin has an open-plan living area that's adorned with handpicked vintage and upcycled furniture. These additions create a warm and inviting atmosphere, no matter the season. Get comfy on the leather sofa by the window, putting your feet up as you tuck into a good book or enjoy a movie on the TV. The living space also features a wonderful corner dining table, that is ideal for romantic meals or hearty breakfasts.
When it comes to meal preparation, The Nestbox has a nicely equipped kitchen that has all you need to prepare lovely meals during your stay. There’s also a dishwasher so no one gets lumbered with the washing up afterwards.
After dinner, head out onto your private deck and enjoy an evening tipple whilst making the most of the incredible country views. Light the fire pit and stay cosy as the sun begins to set. And if you fancy unwinding in true style, you can hop into your own private outdoor bathtub for a luxurious soak beneath the stars.
As night falls, retreat to your wonderfully comfortable king size bed and enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. There’s also a shower room for added convenience should you wish to have a quick morning shower before starting the day.
If you’re in the mood to dine out, you’ll find a great selection of country inns, pubs and restaurants to satisfy a variety of tastes and budgets, all just a short drive away. If adventure calls, you’re in luck! Nestled near Ripon, North Yorkshire, The Nestbox is surrounded by stunning landscapes and is close to an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There’s a wealth of activities waiting just outside your door, so get ready to explore. You can try your hand at a number of activities nearby, from llama walks to stand-up paddleboarding. You can also bring your bike and explore the area on two wheels, or visit the amazing nearby towns of Ripon and Harrogate, or the incredible city of York.
The Nestbox also sits just a few fields over from Fountains Abbey. This beautiful destination is a World Heritage Site and one of the most visited National Truist properties in the country, so be sure to check it out!
