Nestled within three acres of pristine, private ancient woodland, this luxury, hand-crafted wood cabin offers an enchanting escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Meticulously hand-crafted from larch and Douglas Fir, The Lookout exudes rustic charm and elegance, complemented by modern amenities designed for ultimate comfort.
Unwind in the Scandinavian wood-fired hot tub on the deck, where the soothing warmth and serene forest views create a perfect haven for relaxation. The cabin accommodates two guests in a king size bed adorned with crisp white cotton bedding, ensuring a restful night's sleep amid the tranquillity of nature.
Inside, the cabin is thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The well-appointed kitchen includes an oven, hob, kettle, fridge/freezer and a full array of pots, pans, crockery and cutlery, making meal preparation a breeze.
A cosy wood-burning stove warms the interior, while central heating ensures you stay comfortable year-round. On the deck, another wood-burning stove adds a touch of outdoor cosiness, perfect for evenings spent under the stars. Large windows flood the cabin with natural light and offer stunning views of the surrounding woodland, complete with squirrel and bird feeders that attract a variety of wildlife.
The bathroom features a flushing toilet, rain shower and washbasin, all supplied with pure Yorkshire water from the site’s very own borehole.
Modern conveniences such as power and USB sockets, complimentary tea and coffee and toiletries are provided, along with ample under-bed storage for clothes and bags. A table and chairs offer a pleasant spot for dining or working, and with 4G coverage, you can stay connected if needed!
