Sitting in a new and striking warehouse development on the Kent coast is The Look Out. This ultra-modern getaway overlooks Whitstable's Reeves Beach, just a hop and a skip from the town centre. Stylishly decorated to the highest of standards throughout, the property is set across four stories of a modern town house, with a sea view balcony on on the first and second floors. Sleeping a maximum of six guests across two double rooms and one twin, The Lookout offers a beautiful seaside retreat for families and friends alike. Just remember to bring your beach gear!
The ground floor contains one WC and the utility room. The large open planned kitchen is on the first floor. Strikingly modern and fully equipped, it also houses a small breakfast bar, an oak dining table with seating for six, and another WC just off the kitchen. Step through the floor to ceiling sliding doors and onto the first terrace. Here, you can relax on the outdoor furniture as you enjoy an al fresco meal, freshly prepared on the Weber BBQ. The first floor also has the first king size bedroom.
On the second floor is the living room, which has a large, modern corner sofa, flat screen TV, and another spacious balcony with sea views and ample seating. Off the lounge is the family bathroom, complete with WC, basin, and bath. The twin bedroom is situated street-side. Finally on the top floor, beneath a vaulted ceiling, is the master bedroom, boasting a king size bed, en suite bathroom, and terrific balcony sea views.
A charming seaside town, there is plenty to see and do in Whitstable. The lookout is a short walk to Whitstable's historic harbour, and just a stone's throw from that is Harbour Street, chocked full of charming shops and eateries. For those who enjoy the open water, there are several boat tours on offer. Kitesurfing is also a popular pastime of the area, with lessons on offer from Aquilo Kiteboarding. If you are visiting in the summer, be sure to check out the Whitstable Oyster Festival. Just a 20-minute drive south is the cathedral city of Canterbury, while the beautiful Kent countryside is right on your doorstep.
