The Black Cabin is a sleek and striking abode, tucked into a picturesque wood in rural Argyll overlooking the seaside town of Oban. Cosy and comfy, with stylish interiors and modern amenities, this wonderful cabin offers couples a peaceful and romantic retreat.
As you arrive, you’ll be greeted by the beauty of the cabin as it juts out from the hillside. Then, when you step inside, you’re presented with a quaint and cosy living room with oak-clad walls that features comfy seating sitting next to double doors that perfectly frame the beautiful views over Oban. There’s also a wall-mounted TV in the lounge, so you can enjoy a glass of wine and chat the evening away or settle in for a movie night or box set marathon.
We’re sure you’ll love the private deck, where you can sit with a drink in hand and gaze out at the view as the sun begins to set. The deck is also where you’ll find the private hot tub, offering an added slice of luxury to your stay, and yet another place from which to enjoy the view.
When it comes to preparing meals during your stay, you have a modern kitchen which is nicely equipped to make cooking dinner a breeze. And when food’s served, dine on the quaint table for two perched on barstools or take your meals alfresco whilst soaking in the scenery.
When night falls, the cabin has a fab bedroom featuring a super comfy super-king size bed, with a head board made from locally sourced olive ash. The bed and the peaceful surroundings combine to all but guarantee you and your loved one a peaceful night’s sleep. There’s also a wet room, with lovely mood lighting and modern appliances.
Oban, known as the "Gateway to the Isles," offers a variety of activities for nature lovers and adventure seekers. Explore the rugged coastline with a boat tour to nearby islands like Mull and Staffa, or hike up McCaig’s Tower for stunning views. The surrounding countryside boasts scenic walks in the Argyll Forest Park, while history buffs can visit Dunollie Castle or the Oban Distillery. Kayaking, fishing and birdwatching are also popular, making Oban an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts.
