The Beehive Treehouse offers up to four guests a peaceful retreat in the heart of the mid-Devon countryside, with lush green views all around it. Crafted from locally sourced larch wood and made with the environment in mind, this eco-glamping experience is not only kind to the planet but gives its guests the most comfortable and relaxing break from everyday life. Thanks to its own private wooden hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor pizza oven, time spent here is a pleasure, with much to see and explore in the local area, too. The Beehive Treehouse is the ideal haven for families, couples and small groups looking to escape to a little slice of heaven.
The treehouse has been carefully and thoughtfully crafted, making use of local materials where possible and considering the environment at every available opportunity. Built with local wood, insulated with British lambs' wool and powered by solar energy, the treehouse has minimal impact on its stunning surroundings. There are two bedrooms with king-sized beds, as well as a kitchen, shower room with flushing toilet, and even a wood-burner to keep guests nice and toasty. Outside, there is fire pit as well as a wood-fired hot tub, both excellent for unwinding and taking in the beautiful landscapes.
Set on a working farm, The Beehive Treehouse really takes guests back to nature, with animals roaming the land and plenty of wildlife to witness. It's easy to spend all your time soaking up the fresh air and gorgeous views, but exploring Devon is also made easy thanks to the excellent location. About three miles away is the small town of Crediton, where a great choice of shops, cafes, pubs and eateries can be found. Slightly further afield is Exmoor, Dartmoor and of course the idyllic coastline with sandy beaches of both North and South Devon.

Leave a reviewJust back from a short break at the Beehive. What an amazing place! Unfortunately the weather wasn't great so we checked out the wood burning stove which gave out so much heat, didnt need it for the next night! Also used the hot tub, again really hot, we covered it up at night and it was still warm enough for us to watch the sunrise in next morning. Lovely position, just the sounds of nature. The goats were very friendly and followed us around when we went exploring. Jane had thought of everything as the treehouse was very well equipped. Plenty of bird life to be seen from the decking and the hot Tub. Would definitely return, such a relaxing environment.
