Two charming eighteenth-century properties, the Redbrick Barn and Studio ooze character. With gorgeous red bricks, guests are offered a choice between two holiday homes, the Barn and the Studio. Both properties sleep two adults, meaning you can book one for a romantic getaway under the Devonshire stars. Or book them both, providing you with an ideal spot for two couples who wish to travel together, whilst still having their own private dwellings. Immersed within sixty acres of family farmland, this is an unforgettable holiday experience.
With gorgeous interior design, the open-plan layout of Redbrick Barn makes this an exquisite space in which to unwind. The fully furnished kitchen is equipped with everything necessary to cook up a storm, with the dining table, chairs, luxurious sofa and TV area acting as a sociable hub. The mezzanine-level boasts a super king master bedroom with a freestanding bath and his and hers basins. During the summer months, guests can enjoy dinner alfresco in the courtyard garden, equipped with a fire pit for toasting marshmallows or soaking up the night sky.
The Studio boasts a king-sized bed apt for a peaceful night's sleep. Again, this property has an open plan layout to allow guests to socialise and maximise space. The Studio is furnished with two comfy sofas and a TV, meaning movie nights are a joy, and there's also a well-equipped kitchen area with everything you'll need to whip up dinner. The bathroom has a modern design and features a shower with glass doors, a toilet and sink. Both the Barn and the Studio are equipped with a hairdryer, towels, and WiFi for added convenience.
Nestled in the village of Thorverton, Devon, guests at Redbrick Barn have an array of exciting outdoor activities on their doorstep. Killerton House, a quaint Georgian home owned by the National Trust, offers up woods and parklands alike with its 6400 acres of land. Guests can also head over to The Clump Den Building, Killerton’s highest point, to take in the views from the log sofa. Equally, the Park Wood Den Building is a more secluded site for den building, and children can partake in orienteering courses of all levels with the Volcano Challenge, designed in coordination with Devon Orienteering Club.
More locally, The Memorial Hall in Thorverton displays an array of entertainment activities, including a monthly Saturday market offering up local goods. Thorfest music festival takes place on the first Saturday of September, and the Thorverton Parish Church hosts the annual East Devon Arts Festival each May.

Leave a reviewPhenomenal stay in the Loft. The interior is absolutely beautiful, clearly a lot of thought went into this place. Even a dog bed and bowl (would say that my dog didn’t love the open stairs up and down). Supremely peaceful location but it really is off the beaten track (narrow single track roads for the last few miles). Fantastic stay and would love to return on a sunny day to really make the most of it.
