Within easy reach of some of the best surf the UK has to offer, The Nap is a quiet retreat tucked away from the rest of the world. This contemporary cabin is a piece of luxury far from the madding crowd with no neighbours, no TV, no road access and plenty of peace and serenity.

The cabin has wonderful views across the rolling patchwork farmland and beyond to Exmoor. It is a place to sit, breathe, relax and ponder. Wander the farm, watch the buzzards circle on the thermals and at night sit on the deck, see the bats flutter and a constellation of stars will appear as night falls.

Situated on a working farm, you can get up close and personal with nature as you take in the sights and sounds of the beautiful Devon countryside, right outside your door.

Travel up along winding roads until you reach a small farm nestled into the hills. The Nap is just a 5 minute walk up the hill, and is situated in its own fields assuring complete privacy at all times. Carefully crafted and packed with contemporary charm, this wooden cabin is a piece of high end modern design with a mix of country charm, pale woods and copper accoutrements.

The kitchenette is fully fitted and equipped with everything you will need during your stay, including a ceramic hob, oven and grill, fridge and small freezer box and all the cooking utensils, pots and pans you could wish for. Cook yourselves up a storm, whilst listening to your favourite tunes on the Bose sound system, or relax with a cuppa and book from the shelves in the living area. If you are in need of a really good feed, rare breed sausages, bacon, pork belly are all available right there on the farm.

The bathroom is a wood panelled delight, with flushable loo and large double shower decked out with metro tiles. Super soft towels are provided, and this little haven is perfect for washing away a busy day spent exploring.

Sleep in the downstairs double bedroom with a king size bed, and sunrises over Exmoor to die for or sleep amongst the stars in the mezzanine bedroom, with its super cosy ambience and a soft and welcoming double bed.

Outside the cabin, the small field and the larger field of an acre below are all yours, super child and dog friendly, they can run, and run and run! Directly outside the cabin there is an outside sofa, reclining steamers and a large table and benches for al fresco dining, or a spot of yoga as the sun rises. Lower down in the field, there is a wood fired hot tub, firebowl, outdoor kitchen, pizza oven and seating area.

This is a gorgeous cabin in the middle of the Devon countryside, that is so quiet and peaceful it makes you feel like there is no one else for miles around. I met Adam, on the way up to the nap and he was very friendly and we joked about how bad the weather is in September (very heavy rain), but it’s the perfect place to bunker down and relax with the log burner on. It’s ideal for dogs as the fenced garden means you can let them roam freely without any worry of them running away, my dog enjoyed the little details of a treats jar and a tennis ball. I work in the middle of London with a fairly stressful job, and I came away after 4 days feeling completely relaxed. The hot tub really is a labour of love, but 100% worth it, after 4 hours or so of tending to the fire, sitting in the tub with the beautiful views in silence was fabulous even if it was pouring with rain! I’ll be back for sure and I’ve already recommended “The Nap”to multiple friends and they seem keen to experience it soon.

The nap is a little slice of tranquil heaven. Perfect to get away from it all but on the doorstep of many adventures. A fab opportunity to do some night sky photography as well, as the area is secluded and the dark skies allowed a brilliant environment for clear pictures. A unique stay made better by the great hosts and farm goods. We had two dogs with us, who enjoyed the space and freedom to run around in the enclosure. The cabin was well equipped and thought out and extremely comfortable. We would certainly return and would highly recommend the stay :)

What a little gem! We stayed here as a family of four and two dogs. Having a reactive dog it’s hard to find somewhere we can take him and relax, this is the perfect place! So quiet, our dogs loved watching the cows and sheep. We had a great few days away, felt like we were the only people in the world! Great accommodation, lovely hot tub and fantastic views. Couldn’t have asked for more! Lovely bottle of red with the welcome pack. Gorgeous meat from the farm. We will definitely be back! Thank you

AMAZING. Such a beautiful place that's very well equipped for perfect for a getaway which is out of the way from everyone and everything. Its so cosy especially in autumn when the weather isn't the best and you've got a lush cup of coffee sat next to the fire. Adam couldn't have been more helpful with queries and was always willing to lend a hand. Overall we had an amazing time and didn't want to leave and I'm sure we'll be staying again in the future.

Wow! A lovely hideaway property. Covid nearly stopped our getaway but with restrictions lifted we were able to get away. Owners had put a lot of thought into ensuring covid safe too. Communication from initial enquiry to leaving the property was excellent. The property itself was beautiful. The views, decor and facilities were excellent. Our boys loved the freedom of the field to play in and loved talking to the cows in the field next door! The hot tub was an added bonus. Would most definitely recommend.

Just perfect, the Nap itself is beautifully finished and well equipped. This is a place to forget time and let the quietness reset your soul. Whilst you are 2 fields walk away from the owners farm house, Adam couldn’t have been a better host and ensured we had everything we needed. We loved the isolation and the tranquility.

My husband and I had the BEST stay at The Nap. We stayed for 3 nights at the end of May and were blessed with beautiful weather, and a fantastic mini break from our hectic city lives. On arrival we were welcomed by Adam, who had left a freshly baked (still warm) very tasty loaf of bread, and a bottle of red wine for us. He then gave us a brief low-down on things we could do in the area etc. and said to call/text him for anything we need (which we did a few times... for more fire wood) The Nap is a beautiful little building with everything you need. We slept in the downstairs bedroom so we could watch the sun rise in the morning with was very comfortable. The Shower was also great! A few of the evenings we cooked dinner over the fire pit, looking out over the amazing Devon rolling hills, with my husband digging in to rump steak straight from the farm-which he highly enjoyed and even bought some back with us. We also had fresh eggs from the Farm's chickens which were delicious. The hot tub was a real treat and experience. We also had a tour of the farm with Adam & his two gorgeous Labrador dogs one morning and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting all the cows with some of their very new calves (3 were born while we were there!) as well as the sheep, and seeing all the wonderful views from different vantage points. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would go back within a heartbeat. We finished our stay feeling relaxed and very content which was exactly what we wanted (and needed)!

My husband and I stayed here for our mini-moon, with our 2 boxer dogs. It was a little piece of pure tranquillity and relaxation. It was just perfect to unwind after the mayhem of Christmas and our wedding. Adam is an excellent host, friendly, helpful and on hand if needed, but not intrusive in any way - in fact it was very easy to forget that there was anyone within miles of us in the cabin. The cabin has everything you need, the wood burner fire, fire pit and fabulous hot tub were well used and appreciated by us. It was a perfect setting for our dogs to roam free but be fully enclosed so allowing total peace of mind for us ( as they are rather inquisitive). All in all, a fantastic stay, in a beautiful, peaceful setting that allowed us to unwind, relax and enjoy the amazing views. We hope to go back again soon! Don't forget to try some of Langabridge's own meat products - excellent quality and very reasonably priced.

Our family had the most fantastic stay at The Nap. Adam and Becky could not have done more to make us feel welcome and they even lit the hot tub for us while we were out so that it was hot when we arrived home. Being amongst the animals and having to walk up to the cottage was all part of the adventure. I would also highly recommend the produce that is available to buy. Delicious.
