Nestled away on a secluded estate in the peaceful Somerset countryside, this delightful property makes a lovely rural retreat for couples and is ideal for celebrating a birthday or anniversary in total privacy. The cosy cabin is equipped with everything you could need for a romantic getaway and is complete with a log-fired hot tub on the terrace that overlooks the scenic surroundings. If you can tear yourselves away from the stunning property, there are a number of excellent walks and cycle paths right on your doorstep, and an array of charming villages within driving distance.
The warm and welcoming cabin has been renovated to a very high standard, with stylish décor, mood lighting and lots of unique and personal touches. The sitting room is a lovely spot to unwind and can be warmed by a log burner on chilly days – perfect for snuggling up on the sofa and binging the latest series or reading a good book on the rocking chairs overlooking the scenic views.
Guests can make use of the modern kitchen and its high-end appliances if they want to cook up a delicious meal, which can be shared around the dining table or al fresco out on the patio. The bathroom has an elegant roll top bath, a shower unit and underfloor heating to warm cold feet. Fluffy towels, robes, toiletries and a hairdryer are also provided by the thoughtful hosts.
When it’s time to sleep, you can retreat to the bedroom and the luxurious king size bed, fitted with fresh linen and a super soft throw. The bedroom has French doors that can be opened onto the delightful veranda, so you can listen to the calming sounds of the birds and enjoy the views from bed in the morning. Outside on the decking area, guests can soak in the hot tub, relax on the swing chair or sit around the firepit and spend a night under the stars toasting marshmallows.
The Log Cabin is found in the Blackdown Hills, on the border of Somerset and Devon. A designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the tranquil landscape is rich in wildlife and epitomises the English countryside. Rolling hills, green pastures and river valleys can be explored on foot, by bike or even on horseback. The hills are scattered with quaint villages to visit, where a warm welcome and good food are always on offer.

Our check-in days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday. It is a minimum stay of 2 nights. Friday check-ins must be 3 nights minimum (Friday-Monday). If you wish to stay for longer than 2 weeks please contact us.

Leave a reviewThis is an absolutely beautiful place. It's very quiet and relaxing. The accommodation is at a very high standard; they've thought of everything to make this a memorable stay. All the amenities and little touches were really appreciated and responses were really fast. I can't recommend highly enough and we are already looking to come back.
