Every aspect of this stay is amazing. Me and my partner stayed here for her 30th. We were both blown away by the quality of everything, from the construction and space to the appliances and small finishes. Left speechless by the tranquility of the area and the awe at the views, it immediately feels like you are somewhere very special. The hot tub and sauna are easy to use, high quality and very clean. The well-stocked log store on site was also a very good touch. All elements feel luxurious and it seems great thought and effort has been given to cater the small things that you may need during your stay. No trips to the shops to get dishwasher tablets etc. The cooking facilities are excellent and Richard was available during our stay, with very good communication and extremely friendly. We spoke to the guests staying at the other chalet on site and we all agreed that this might be the only time we've not wanted to leave the accomodation while on holiday. Every moment spent trying to enjoy yourselves elsewhere feels inferior to the luxury of the Rooks Nest, feeling a pull to return at the earliest opportunity. My girlfriend suffers with debilitating eczema, to the point that water and heat are big triggers of inflammation normally. I don't know if it was the climate, water or air but as soon as we arrived, her skin began to clear up and gave her an unprecedented level of relief that we had not seen before, nor since. I cannot recommend the Rooks Nest enough, utterly outstanding.
