If you’re craving peace and quiet in a beautiful, rural location with an abundance of wildlife on your doorstep, then Eden Cabin ticks all the boxes. Situated within a pretty, private garden, complete with climbing roses and a secret wildflower area, this bespoke, timber frame building promises tranquility. Add to that your own hot tub, fabulous countryside views and a deck adorned with fairy lights and you’ve got all the ingredients for a romantic getaway to remember.

The first thing you’ll notice when you step inside this high-end cabin are the floor-to-ceiling windows and patio doors in the living area. Occupying two sides of the property, they provide scenic views across the garden to the hills beyond, flood the cabin with natural light and help you feel immersed in nature. The comfy corner sofa is in the perfect spot to make the most of the enviable vistas and an atmospheric wood burner will keep you cosy while you watch the outside world go by.

When you’re feeling peckish, head to the well-equipped fitted kitchen, where you’ll find everything you need to prepare a hearty breakfast, leisurely lunch or candlelit dinner for two. There’s also a small table and chairs for indoor dining.

The calming bedroom boasts a king size bed with deluxe mattress, a large double wardrobe, dressing table and a smart TV. Full height windows allow you to soak up the picturesque view without even having to leave the comfort of your bed. There’s also a contemporary ensuite, with an eye-catching apple blossom mural inside the walk-in shower.

Outside you’ll be spoilt for choice for places to relax and breath in the fresh country air. You could head to the covered deck for a soak in the semi-sunken hot tub, sit under the beech and silver birch trees in the secret wild garden, or make yourself comfortable on a lounger on the lush, green lawn. There’s also a handmade slate dining table and benches for alfresco meals and a brick-built charcoal BBQ, perfect for flame-grilled feasts.

You may not want to leave your relaxing retreat but if you do decide to explore, you’ll discover lots to see and do on your doorstep and in the surrounding area. The picturesque Grand Western Canal is just a short stroll away, nearby Exmoor National Park has some great walking and cycling routes and if you fancy a pub lunch, there are lots of great choices within easy driving distance.

Absolutely loved our stay here. So peaceful and tranquil. Luxury cabin, with everything you could possibly need. We left feeling so rested. Hot tub was incredible and roomy with the perfect view of the sunset. Hosts were lovely and attentive. All the privacy you need without being too far from shops and cafes etc. Not a long drive to the coast. The perfect stay. The cleanest cabin. Would 100% stay again!

Wow, just wow! Are the three words I heard for the first 72 hours! It doesn't get better than that! Great cabin, great garden, great hot tub.... The cake wasn't to shabby either. Can't recommend this place enough.

I booked this as a Birthday present for my husband. Wow, it did not disappoint. It was the perfect romantic get away. The cabin has everything you could need. We were greeted by a beautiful roaring fire, which was fabulous. The hot tub is great, and under cover so you can use it even if it rains. The garden is beautiful and we loved watching the birds. Plenty to see and do in the area. Rob the owner is lovely, we honestly couldn't have wished for a better mini break. We will definitely be going back for another stay. Loved it.

Perfect relaxing get away. Set in a peaceful location, the cabin is equipped with everything needed to take time to recharge. The cabin was lovely and clean and especially impressed the hot tub is cleaned prior to each booking. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.
