You’ll find the charming Pont Faen Cottage tucked away in a secluded spot on a private estate within Wales’ stunning Llyn Peninsula. With a stream flowing gently nearby and a lake a short stroll away, this idyllic retreat is perfect for families or small groups looking to slow down the pace and immerse themselves in some beautiful scenery.
Spend your days enjoying long walks in the countryside, visiting the nearby beaches or having a go at some fishing at the lake. Return to the cottage for a dip in the hot tub and perhaps a BBQ in the garden before snuggling up in front of the log-burner.
The cottage feels warm and welcoming from the moment you step inside, with its original slate floors, cosy fireplace and characterful decor. You’ll find everything you need to whip up delicious meals in the farmhouse kitchen. Choose between eating in the bright and airy dining room with its big windows and views over the garden or alfresco on the patio, surrounded by the peaceful countryside.
After dinner, retreat to the cosy living area with its comfy sofa and armchairs gathered around the log-burner and get stuck into a board game or two. There are three spacious bedrooms, all beautifully furnished to create relaxing spaces that promise a good night's sleep. There are also two bathrooms, where you’ll find Bramley toiletries waiting for you.
Make the most of the outdoors, cooking on the BBQ or exploring the large garden. Go for a stroll down to the lake and soak up the stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. The wood-fired hot tub is the perfect spot to relax after a long walk, or you can go for a dip in the evening and do a bit of stargazing in the stunning dark skies.
If you fancy venturing a little further afield, there are plenty of trails to follow that will take you through the countryside and along the coast. Black Rock Sands is also nearby, a vast stretch of sandy beach perfect for walks, building sandcastles or even some watersports. Eryri National Park is also within easy reach for more spectacular scenery and walking trails, including the route to the top of Snowdon where you’ll be rewarded with incredible views on a clear day.
