Tucked away in the rolling countryside of the Shropshire-Wales border, Cynynion Uchaf is a stunning farmhouse that perfectly blends rustic charm with contemporary comfort. This beautifully restored retreat offers a peaceful haven for families and friends, with space for up to eight guests.
Step inside to find a warm and inviting interior, where modern touches enhance the farmhouse’s traditional character. Gather together in the heart of the home - the open-plan kitchen and dining space. A range cooker, induction hob, dishwasher, slow cooker and coffee machine cater to all your culinary needs, while a thoughtfully stocked larder – including coffee pods, tea and other essentials – makes settling in effortless. And when meals are served up, enjoy grand social feasts around the spacious oak dining table that seats eight.
After dinner, head to the cosy lounge with its comfy sofas, exposed beams and feature fireplace. This is the perfect spot to stay toasty and warm as you enjoy a movie night on the 50-inch Smart TV. You also have a cosy snug with a comfy sofa, reclining armchairs and an electric log-effect stove. Or, if the sun is shining, head to the bright conservatory with sofas and armchairs offering a comfy spot to tuck into a good book. The home also has a lovely garden for outdoor socialising, with space for you to dine alfresco whilst soaking in your surroundings.
When night falls, the farmhouse offers up four delightful bedrooms, all of which ooze rural charm, featuring comfy beds that guarantee a fab night’s sleep. There are also modern bathrooms in the home, one of which features a big bathtub for indulgent soaks after a day out exploring the surrounding countryside.
When it comes to venturing out, there’s lots to see and do nearby. Immerse yourself in Shropshire’s rich history, visiting ancient castles and historic market towns. Foodies will want to eat out in many local country pubs or a home cooked meal can be delivered to the farmhouse, while The Sweeney offers fine dining with top-quality ingredients. You've also got lots of lovely countryside nearby just waiting to be explored, so bring your hiking boots and head to the Shropshire Hills National Landscape.
