Bron Y Gadair is a beautifully restored Regency farmhouse tucked away in the picturesque Gwynedd countryside. Steeped in history and nestled at the end of a quiet drive, this amazing home offers a peaceful escape in the heart of a breathtaking landscape. With sweeping views over Moel Y Gest and down towards the sea, this secluded retreat sits beside ancient farm ruins, with rugged footpaths leading straight to the stunning coastal path between Criccieth and Blackrock beaches.
When you step inside you’ll find interiors that blend historic charm with modern comforts. The farmhouse showcases original architectural details alongside contemporary amenities designed to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
The expansive ground floor is open plan and designed for socialising, featuring a well-equipped kitchen with a large dining table for eight. There’s also a separate dining area with space for 10 more people that sets the scene for grand social dinners together. The sitting area exudes warmth, with two plush sofas, two armchairs and a cosy wood-burning stove. Throw some logs on the fire and stay toasty and warm as you dig into a good book or chat the night away with loved ones.
If you fancy some peace, head to the large snug with seating for eight where another wood burner provides an additional retreat for relaxing evenings. There’s also a separate TV/playroom that boasts a 60-inch smart TV and yet another wood-burning stove.
Outside, a spacious terrace captures the afternoon sun, complete with elegant teak furniture and a BBQ that is ideal for alfresco dining with friends and family. The fenced garden provides a safe and secure space for children to play freely, meaning you can relax in peace whilst breathing in that fresh country air.
When night falls, there are four beautifully appointed bedrooms upstairs that all offer spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and countryside. The master bedroom features a king size bed with an ensuite shower room, while the additional bedrooms - a super-king, a twin and a double - ensure ample space for guests. There are also three stylish bathrooms, including a family bathroom and two shower rooms, ensuring there are no queues for the shower in the morning.
When it comes to filling your days, there’s lots of lovely countryside all around, just waiting to be explored.
