Relaxation, luxury and a slower pace of life are the order of the day and Nineteen. Perched on the waters of Plymouth Harbour and directly above a coffee shop and roastery, the beautiful three-bedroom penthouse is your escape from the hustle and bustle of the modern world. Boasting open-plan living and a stunning balcony, it’s the perfect place to watch the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean.
Newly built in the Mount Batten area of Plymouth, Nineteen is a modern, airy and tranquil bolthole in Devon. As you enter the penthouse apartment, you’re greeted with a huge, open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. Tastefully furnished with Scandi furniture and natural, neutral tones, it’s an oasis of calm. The huge windows fill the space with light and boast stunning views over the harbour. Moving outside, the huge terrace is the perfect place to relax with a glass of something and a bite to eat. Whether you’re enjoying your morning coffee, dining alfresco in the evening or doing a yoga routine, it’s a spot you’ll never forget.
The fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need for a self-catering break, but should you fancy something different, pop downstairs to the coffee shop and roastery for fresh bagels or wood-fired pizzas. Back inside, three large double bedrooms have space for up to six guests. Adorned with thick mattresses and luxury bedding, they’re the perfect place to drift off as you hear the gentle sea breeze outside. Two shared bathrooms feature a walk-in shower and a deep bath to soak away the stresses of the day.
Nestled around a deep natural Harbour on Devon’s south coast, Plymouth has plenty to suit any tastes. A relaxed and safe city, you can easily spend a day wandering the historic streets, browsing independent boutiques and sampling local seafood. Of course, no visit to Plymouth would be complete without trying some locally distilled gin. Get a taste of days gone by at the Barbican waterfront and take in Plymouth’s maritime history, peruse fantastic art at The Box gallery or slow things down with a stroll along the South West Coast Path.
