You should know

• The owners have created a cosy nook under the stairs with a two-person trundle that can be made up - upon request and subject to a supplement - to sleep an additional two guests taking the total to six.
• There's a smoke alarm but no carbon monoxide alarm has been listed.
• Parking in Brighton is like gold dust so if you're coming by car ask the host about parking areas. Train is recommended and a very short distance from property.
• The owners offer one night stays every day other than Saturdays which is a two night minimum.

This bold and beautiful mews house in the heart of Brighton's bohemian North Laine's is only a seven minute stroll from the train station and would be perfect for a family or group of friends wanting to take advantage of all that Brighton has to offer.

Newly renovated and cooly designed, in-keeping with its colourful and urban surroundings, this house is truly unique. As you walk in you'll discover a home carefully curated to reflect Brighton's vibrant and eccentric character. Everything has been finished to a high spec and you'll want to start Instagramming immediately!

The open plan set-up on the ground floor is perfect for family and friends entertaining. The living area is opulent and the kitchen fully equipped for whipping up fabulous meals or party tapas. Decorated in pale muted hues with pops of vibrant colour, the feature wall is indeed a feature - spray painted to reflect the urban vibes outside it is something to behold.

There are two bedroom upstairs with king size beds and a cosy nook in the living area where kids can chill. There's also a pull out bed for two extra people bringing the total capacity to six. Upstairs the grand bathroom suite is a masterpiece in its own right with a walk-in shower featuring Marilyn Monroe. There is an opulent roll top bath and sustainable, super cool bath products to help yourself to, with luxury linens and extras to make your trip just a little more special.

The house is perfectly positioned to walk everywhere by foot. Moments away from the antique and curiosity shops, art galleries, coffee bars and vintage fashion boutiques.

The characterful streets meander all the way down to the beach which is an easy 12 minute stroll. Brighton has so much by way of eateries and bars that the best way to discover what you like is to just wander round. You'll find incredible family run tapas, vegan and seafood restaurants. Bars with late live music and a couple of excellent old pubs right on the beach overlooking the remains of the old pier.

If you fancy a bit of traditional seaside fun, do visit the remaining pier for slot machines, fish and chips and karaoke. Whether you choose to go budget or fancy, there's something for everyone. And if you make your way to the beach at sunset you can get a pint and watch the starlings do their aerial ballet, which is something to behold.
