Cosy barn conversion with open plan living, warming log burner, hot tub and a lovely garden, just outside Richmond in Yorkshire.
This lovely barn conversion boasts open-plan living and has a large private garden which would be perfect for a small family or a romantic couple's getaway.
The main part of this charming conversion is the open-plan living, kitchen and dining area. High beamed ceilings provide a light airy feel to the space, which at its centre has a big plush corner sofa facing a widescreen wall-mounted TV, with a lovely toasty wood burner in the corner. This is an excellent place to put your feet up after a day of exploring and unwind with a glass of wine, some snacks and a good movie.
The kitchen area is fully equipped with everything you could need to whip up a full English or a romantic evening meal which you can enjoy at the cosy four-seater table. Large sliding doors provide a delightful view of the garden and the constantly shifting Yorkshire skies.
Both bedrooms are also on the ground floor and are simply and elegantly decorated to create a peaceful ambience and a good night's rest. Each has a king size bed that can be zipped apart to make large twins if required. And both rooms have their own ensuite with luxurious free-standing baths and rainfall showers. You'll find fluffy towels, complimentary robes and toiletries for you to indulge in.
An extra feature that will really please is the snug room upstairs in the beamed eaves. With comfy seating, a Smart TV and a PlayStation, this is a great nook for kids to chill out at the end of a busy day whilst the grown ups have a drink and prepare dinner.
On warm evenings you'll want to be out in the garden which is all set up for some alfresco dining with a benched dining table and separate chair seating with a small coffee table. The piece de resistance is the jacuzzi-style hot tub where you can bob away in comfort with a glass of champagne as the sun sets over this glorious corner of Yorkshire.
After a restful night you might like to take a long lazy soak in the tub before heading back out into the garden for the first coffee of the day. Pack some comfy boots because there are some wonderful scenic walks to be had in the nearby Yorkshire Dales.
