Nestled in the beautiful countryside of south east Cornwall, you'll find Kernock Cottages on a private 22-acre estate. There are four beautifully furnished cottages, suitable for everything from a quiet couple's escape to an adventure with the whole family. Each cottage has its own character and charm but you'll find them all equipped with private hot tubs, perfectly positioned to enjoy the beautiful views over the estate. After a busy day exploring coastal villages, going on boat trips to spot seals or even hiking in Dartmoor National Park, this is where you can sit back, relax and soak up the scenery.
If you're looking for a romantic escape for two, The Coach House is the one for you. This cosy cottage features a warm and welcoming interior with a double-height open-plan living area and a galleried bedroom complete with a luxurious king size bed. You'll find the interior packed with character with exposed beams, lintels and lovely tiles with underfloor heating to keep you toasty whatever the weather.
If you need a bit of extra space, Heather Barn and Tree Barn both sleep up to four guests. Heather Barn is set in an orchard garden in a quiet corner of the estate and features a stylish interior with high ceilings and a section of glass roof. This cottage is all laid out over one level and designed with accessibility in mind. Tree Barn is a bright and airy cottage with fantastic views and an open-plan layout on the ground floor, perfect for socialising with the family.
Owl Barn is the perfect choice for larger families or for groups of friends. This three bedroom cottage comfortably sleeps up to six guests and offers plenty of space for everyone to relax and unwind. Cook together in the fully-equipped kitchen before relaxing in the huge galleried sitting room on the top floor where you can enjoy the fabulous views.
All of the cottages have their own private garden space where you can enjoy sunny afternoons cooking outdoors on the BBQ or relaxing on the garden furniture. The hot tubs are all under cover so you can use them whatever the weather and enjoy the views over the estate or even do a bit of stargazing. Owl Barn and Tree Barn have an additional landscaped garden that is shared in case you want to book the two together.
Spend your days strolling through the beautiful estate grounds, which even has its own six-acre secure dog park with woodland and mown paths through the fields to explore. For a longer walk, head out to Bodmin Moor nearby or hop across the border into Devon to explore Dartmoor National Park. If you fancy a day out at the beach, the stunning coastline of south east Cornwall is just a short drive away. You can walk along the coastal path or visit charming harbour towns and villages such as Looe, Polperro and Fowey. For a change of pace, the bustling city of Plymouth is also within easy reach, offering plenty in the way of shops, restaurants and a fascinating maritime history.
