This amazing, modern home, tucked away in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside offers groups of eight a fantastic base for a rural retreat. Inside the decor is sleek and stylish with a nod to its countryside surroundings, whilst outside, the sprawling social area, complete with a hot tub and outdoor kitchen, is the ideal place to unwind as a group. The home is made up of three shipping containers, but inside, the living areas are as comfortable and cosy as could be.
The charming living room offers you and your loved ones the chance to sink into the plush and spacious corner sofa, perfect for relaxing or socialising. Warm up on chilly days with the charming log burner, adding a touch of rustic elegance to your stay and enjoy cinematic experiences with a top-of-the-line smart TV and immersive Sonos sound system.
When mealtimes approach, the modern kitchen has everything you need to whip up delicious feasts. Cook up a storm on the Neff ceramic induction hob and full-sized Neff oven, or whip up something quick and delicious with the Ninja air fryer. There’s also an American-style fridge/freezer, complete with a water and ice dispenser and the sleek, stainless steel sink features a kettle tap for instant boiling water. Start your mornings with a perfect cup from the Nespresso coffee machine, and treat yourself to luxurious hot chocolate made in the Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser, both supplied with complimentary coffee and chocolate for your enjoyment.
Dine in style around the original refurbished Ercol dining suite, comfortably seating eight. Enjoy the stunning views through full-length windows, adding a touch of natural beauty to every meal.
When bedtime beckons, there are two double bedrooms, each featuring king size beds. Then, the four-person bedroom boasts a king-size bed alongside two singles, set on a charming raised platform accessed by a fixed ladder. All of the beds feature luxury Emma mattresses. This innovative design promises a memorable stay for everyone!
Before bed, however, why not enjoy an indulgent soak in the free-standing roll-top bath tub in the luxurious bathroom?
Outside is where this property really comes to life! Step onto the expansive covered decking area and discover a sanctuary of relaxation and entertainment. The star attraction is a luxurious hot tub that comfortably seats up to eight people. Gather around the central table with seating for all and enjoy your favourite tunes from the wireless outdoor smart speaker. No need to leave the warmth of the deck for restroom breaks as heated toilet facilities are conveniently located nearby. Complementary robes, slippers and hand towels are also provided for your hot tub sessions.
Enhancing your outdoor experience is a 55” smart outdoor TV with a sound bar, perfectly positioned for hot tub viewing. Mix up your favourite drinks at the fully equipped cocktail cabinet (just bring your own beverages) and enjoy the tent-style windows that offer weather protection or can be rolled up to reveal stunning views. For added fun, a selection of vintage board games and an Alexa speaker are available to keep the good times rolling.
Just a short walk up a grassy slope from the deck, you'll find our delightful outdoor kitchen area. Spread out and relax in ample seating while you savour pizzas cooked in the hot stone pizza oven or barbecue delights prepared on the handmade BBQ, which also doubles as a cosy fire pit.
Perched at 1,330 feet above sea level, your location offers breathtaking views and direct access to numerous walking trails. Use popular hiking apps to explore the surrounding beauty right from your doorstep. The Bridestones, just a 15-20 minute walk away, feature large rock formations and stunning views.
A short drive takes you to Britain’s highest beach at Gaddings Dam and the 121 ft Stoodley Pike monument. Pack appropriately, as Yorkshire's weather can be unpredictable, with all four seasons in a single day.
You are also about a mile from Todmorden, known for its eateries and pubs. Just four miles away, Hebden Bridge offers bars, cafes, restaurants, independent shops and an independent cinema, making it perfect for a day trip.

Have you stayed here?
Leave a reviewWow, just returned from 2 nights at Hous Viridis and had an amazing stay. The attention to detail is incredible, absolutely everything has been thought of to make your stay incredible. From gowns and slippers for everyone to a freshly baked loaf on arrival, plenty of toilet roll (I've stayed lots of places and there is never enough!) tea bags, sugar, spray oil, butter, and the most tasty cheese. The beds were so comfortable and the best pillows I've ever slept on. Loved the outdoor space, and the pizza oven is a brilliant addition. And to top it off we got to meet the pygmy goats and feed them! The hot tub was perfect for the cooler evening's and the seating right next to it meant those that didn't fancy a dip weren't left out. Would highly recommend staying here!
